Pastor Willie Taylor
Dr. Willie Taylor is the Founder and Pastor of Word of Life Fellowship Ministries in Jacksonville, NC. His ministry began as an evangelist in southeastern Georgia during the mid-1980’s where he traveled extensively preaching the gospel.

After serving as a faithful member at Broxton Deliverance Center, he was ordained as an Apostle by Chief Apostle Charles Wilkerson in Savannah, GA. Dr. Taylor received the call to become a Pastor in September 1989 and moved his family from Broxton GA to Jacksonville, NC with only one promise from the Lord, “I’ll show you as you go.”
Dr. Taylor’s ministry expanded beyond Jacksonville, NC when he founded the WAAVE Church in Wilmington, NC in 2011. He also oversees Word of Faith International, Inc. in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and several other churches throughout the United States. In May 2005, Dr. Taylor received his doctorate degree from The North Carolina College of Theology.
In 2006, he began the Onslow County Fellowship of Senior Pastors, which is a support network that provides mentorship and leadership training for Pastors. Dr. Taylor has a passion for empowering men to know their spiritual callings and kingdom assignments, which is the purpose for his “Men of Honor” group in Jacksonville, NC. Dr. Taylor is an active participant and member of the Association of Independent Ministries (AIM) under the leadership of Dr. I.V. Hilliard in Houston, TX.
Dr. Taylor is a firm believer of in total life prosperity. Through his “Word of Faith” teaching lessons and television programs, he inspires saints to assume their divine place in God. As the author of “Going for the Double” and “My Dream Chest”, he provides a spiritual blueprint for every believer to achieve total life success. A highly sought-after speaker, Dr. Taylor is a gift to the Body of Christ and is changing lives through faith!

First Lady Janice Taylor is the wife of Pastor Willie Taylor, senior pastor of Word of Life in Jacksonville, NC. She serves in full-time ministry beside her husband, where she is director of Women Empowering Women (W.E.W), a ministry for women.

Through W.E.W, First Lady Taylor encourages women to live a life for Christ, how to be a Godly Wife and Mother, and to discover self-worth. Secondly, Her Prayer Ministry teaches women how to walk in the wisdom of God, pray for their families, church, and their personal ministries. First Lady Taylor is a graduate of N.C. College of Theology and is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel.
The ministry gift in First Lady Janice Taylor touches the lives of men and women of all ages and backgrounds, as she teaches the Word of God with simplicity, humor, and understanding. She and Pastor Willie Taylor are the proud parents of three daughters and sons-in-law: Veronica & Maurice Williams, Velvet & Ed Scoggin, and LeConte & James McIver. They also have six grandchildren: Taylor & Jordan Scoggin, James (Jay) & Hannah McIver, and Caleb & Zoe Williams.
